What differentiates Airtable from other similar products?

API and integration It is undoubtedly one of the most relevant characteristics of the system. The API that Airtable automatically gives you allows you to connect third-party applications (Gmail, Typeform, Slack…) to your databases. To integrate the API with other applications there are two ways to do it: Either using Airtable's own API system and creating a customized solution, or connecting with an integration system such as Zapier or Integromat.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

Airtable offers an option to link the records of different cells and create relationships between the existing tables. Post views In an Excel or Google Spreadsheets sheet there is only one type of row view and if one user wants to hide or freeze columns, everyone else will be forced to see those changes.

What do you dislike most about this product?

I wish there were more customizable views, even as if a record reference CSS and HTML display option was awesome.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

Well-known companies already use Airtable to optimize resources, save time and promote collaboration in their teams to organize, automate and monitor projects

What differentiates Airtable from other similar products?

How are Asana and Airtable different? Features, functionality, formats, and views - both have a feature extension list. One major area of difference is that Airtable offers custom reports, while Asana does not. Additionally, Asana has Kanban boards, lists, Gantt charts, timelines, and calendars built into its platform. Airtable offers various views (grid, calendar, gallery and Kanban) and "extends your solution" with Airtable App

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

With Airtable, I can create a database tailored to my needs, configure different types of columns, add records, link tables together, collaborate between people, filter or classify records, and publish views on external websites or applications.

What do you dislike most about this product?

Airtable does not allow bidirectional synchronization between separate bases.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

Airtable is the all-in-one collaboration platform that combines the flexibility of a spreadsheet interface with rich features like attachments, Kanban card stacks, calendars, and reporting.

What differentiates Airtable from other similar products?

Its more versatile than most tools available in this space. We have used competitor tools but where it really shines is the depth of the databases you are able to produce. if you need more than 10 000 lines, and you need automation it is a brilliant solution

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

We have not found a use which Airtable was not able to resolve.

What do you dislike most about this product?

Its very complex, there is a huge barrier to entry. an academy or a wizzard on how to use it would be super helpful to the new comers.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

Stick with it, once you understand the basics, the possibilities of the tool is endless. so really commit to it, it will pay off
