What differentiates Act! from other similar products?

Act! is a highly flexible tool that offers a lot of easy, customizable functionality to fit every business need.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

We can customize screens, fields, layouts and create drop down menus for most used items

What do you dislike most about this product?

I've suggested a few simple improvements over the years, but they haven't been implemented yet. For instance, why not add an auto-save feature? Since the software operates in a web browser and we often have multiple windows open, it's easy to accidentally close the wrong one and lose updates. An auto-save function could prevent this. Additionally, I perform duplicate checks by email address, so why does it still alert me when no email address is entered? If the field is empty, the duplicate check shouldn't activate! It would also be helpful to have time or auto-adjusting priority fields.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

This product is very reliable. I've been using it for over 20 years, starting with the PC version. I switched from the Hybrid version to the cloud, and while it can be slower than the offline version, the convenience of having everything online is fantastic. You can easily find contacts on your phone, although the phone app could be better. Overall, it runs smoothly and I appreciate how customizable it is. You can tailor the software to fit your business processes, enhancing everything together.
