Imperfect and antiquated, but incredibly useful

What differentiates Act! from other similar products?

ACT is so customizable that it helps to avoid potential issues with having to shoehorn our information into fields that aren't made for what we do. I love labeling everything correctly and being able to customize everything to our liking.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

It is invaluable to be able to right-click on any field to search by that input. That alone is the primary reason I chose ACT.

What do you dislike most about this product?

The software definitely looks antiquated, and the design functions could definitely be cleaned up and updated a bit. There are also glitchy issues like data not being saved in a file sometimes.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

Certainly start with support as you're getting started with the product.

Great contact management software

What differentiates Act! from other similar products?

Started out with Act in its infancy. Loved desktop version that did not require a subscription. Lacking a “ light” version.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

Tracking contact communication on multiple projects over time.

What do you dislike most about this product?

Problems with attachments. Reporting of history needs improvement.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

If cost is not objectionable, I think this is a very good tool for management of projects and communications.
