Software Users Review Web Analytics Vendors for Satisfaction, Revealing Their Top Two Through SoftwareReviews

Mouseflow and Google Analytics are named the 2019 Web Analytics Data Quadrant gold medalists.

TORONTO, Nov. 14, 2019 - SoftwareReviews, a division of world-class IT research and consulting firm Info-Tech Research Group, has published its 2019 Web Analytics Data Quadrant Awards, naming five gold medalists based on excellent user reviews. The following vendors are leaders according to software users’ answers to some very interesting questions focused on user satisfaction, which have been crafted by seasoned IT industry analysts and backed by 22 years of IT research:

·         Mouseflow
·         Google Analytics

Mouseflow did exceptionally well in providing “top product” for vendor support, availability and quality of training, ease of implementation, conversion analysis, customer journey modelling, data visualization, device and browser analytics and audience segmentation. Overall, Mouseflow’s greatest accomplishment with software users was its 90% score in likeliness to recommend.

Google Analytics was extraordinary in delivering both quality of features and breadth of features, earning “top product” in each category. As the clear front-runner in its Net Emotional Footprint score of 85%, Google Analytics provided its end users with the highest degree of positive emotional responses.

What makes the SoftwareReviews Data Quadrant different? Inclusion of aggregated emotional response ratings in the areas of service, negotiation, product impact, conflict resolution, and strategy and innovation create a powerful indicator of overall user feeling toward the vendor and its product from the software users’ point of view. SoftwareReviews calls this insight the Net Emotional Footprint.

“In today’s competitive environment, it’s critical that organizations have a strong approach to delivering great web experiences to their customers. Part of this approach is having a thorough, holistic understanding of your web traffic – after all, you can’t optimize your content if you don’t have the data to see what’s working and what’s not,” explained Ben Dickie director, research & advisory, customer experience management at Info-Tech Research Group. “To make sense of your web traffic data, it’s crucial to invest in a dedicated web analytics platform. These platforms provide a robust tool set for collecting – and understanding – your web traffic data,” he added.
