What differentiates Zoho Books from other similar products?

Take invoicing, for instance. With clients scattered across different time zones and billing cycles, the automation in Zoho Books has been a game-changer. Last quarter, we onboarded a major client with variable milestone payments. Zoho Books ensured that invoices were automatically generated and sent out at each milestone, with zero manual intervention. Plus, the ability to customize invoices gave us the flexibility to include project-specific details that clients appreciate.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

Bank reconciliation is another area where Zoho Books truly stands out. It’s intuitive and surprisingly fast. In fact, reconciling our accounts—once a dreaded end-of-month ritual—is now a seamless process that I can trust without second-guessing. I particularly enjoy how it flags discrepancies for review, ensuring no surprises at audit time.

What do you dislike most about this product?

That said, the mobile app could use some enhancement.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

Zoho Books has made our financial processes smoother, especially in managing recurring IT service contracts and project-based billing. The real-time dashboard offers a bird’s-eye view of cash flow, making budget forecasting far less daunting. My team and I no longer spend hours chasing numbers—it frees up time for strategic decisions.

What differentiates Zoho Books from other similar products?

Has role based access which help admin to set users in the tool and set which role in the tool they can have and also which information can be viewed by the user.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

I like the time tracking module which can clearly shows the time spent on a project and the pricing of the tool is fair compared to other software

What do you dislike most about this product?

The mobile application does not have all the modules in the software compared to the web application

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

I would recommend the tool because it has fair pricing
