What differentiates Zerto Platform from other similar products?

A great Disaster Recovery Tool which provides good data security. The replication groups and other such features such as NSX edge differentiates zerto platrom from other similar products.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

I like the analytics portal because it gives me a broad picture of my infrastructure. I like that I can look through a single pane of glass to assess the state of my environment. The mobile app is another aspect that I liked the most.

What do you dislike most about this product?

Nothing to dislike about this product, I didn't have any issue with it. It worked flawlessly

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

For the purpose it serves, I find this tool to be far superior to vSphere Replication/SRM/Carbonite due to its short learning curve, quick implementation and configuration, and incredible compression technology. It's a real-time replication and worry-free DR solution.

What differentiates Zerto Platform from other similar products?

This tool offers some data replication capabilities and makes recovering data easy. This therefore means the business need not worry about data loss.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

Zerto Platform is highly secure and makes data recovery easy The software is scalable and I like that using it is easy The software is cloud based and very affordable as well.

What do you dislike most about this product?

I have not had issues with this product. Zerto Platform is amazing as is.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

If you are in the market for data recovery and replication software, Zerto Platform is what you need. It saves you money and get the work done.

Automated Backup Testing and Verification Goes beyond monitoring whether backup jobs completed by verifying the integrity of data restoration.

Backup of Cloud Based Data In addition to targeting backups to the cloud, the solution also has the capability to back up primary data and services already in the cloud.

Continuous Data Protection Changed data is replicated continuously and maintained in a journal, allowing an application to be consistently restored to almost any previous point in time.

Replication for High Availability Beyond secondary copy backup, the solution also manages replication of primary data host-to-host and site-to-site for live failover and high availability.

Replication for Long Term Storage and Disaster Recovery Onsite backup data is replicated and stored to a public cloud (AWS, Azure). Can also include restore-to-cloud capabilities for Disaster Recovery as a Service.

Virtual Machine Backup Automatically discovers and protects VMs as they come online, move, and change. Production VMs are replicated to a secondary data store.

Application Consistency Groupings Provides internally consistent protection, mobility, and recovery, including from both short- and long-term retention and for a single/entire VM.

Integration With Storage Arrays Integrates with APIs from major storage vendors (NetApp, HP, Dell EMC) to leverage capabilities in these arrays such as data snapshots and replication.

Deduplication Implementation Deduplication of redundant data blocks is implemented by the solution. Deduplication can be at source, target, or globally (source and target).

Backup Automation Solution automates backup, recovery and remediation tasks using RestAPI and CLI to integrate with 3rd party solutions, reduce cost and enforce standards.

Backup Monitoring and Reporting Backup and replication are continually monitored for status and effectiveness. Detailed reporting is available on successful and unsuccessful operations.
