Workato is an AI-based middleware platform that enables both business and IT to integrate their apps and automate complex business workflows with security and governance. Given the massive and growing fragmentation of data, apps, and business processes in enterprises today, our mission is to help companies integrate and automate at least 10 times faster than traditional tools and at a tenth of the cost of ownership.

What differentiates Workato from other similar products?

Workato is born in the cloud. Not a remake of a legacy toolset. It is business-oriented, intuitive product and it makes light work of what was historically a technically complex undertaking. Whilst technical capability helps you drive the most out of the product, it is not essential providing you have a familiarity with modern technical components such as APIs

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

The connectors and the ability to create connectors of your own. Plus also the so-called OPA or on-premise adapter - no more punching holes in a firewall

What do you dislike most about this product?

Accessing and interacting with support can be variable. There is a long-standing issue with callable recipes that fail and being able to terminate them.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

This is a transformative tool for this era. Its ability to abstract away complexity is phenomenal. Don't be drawn into technology-centric alternatives
