What differentiates Wave from other similar products?

I have used Wave Accounting for over 6 years for myself and 3 other businesses. It is so easy to implement. I'm not an accounting person yet this is easy to understand and work within.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

I love that I can create my invoices and send via email and my clients can pay online without interaction with me or I can create a payment link that is housed on my website. I love the new Wave Money that makes banking without fees seamless. Fabulous addition!

What do you dislike most about this product?

A recent update changed the way that expenses purchased are processed. It use to be very easy to upload and AI pulled some of the data and you reviewed and updated it. Now, it is a 2 step process and you have to enter all of the data manually unless it is coming from bank info.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

Wave Accounting is a fabulously easy accounting system that helps you keep your business organized. Reports are easy to run and all of your data is housed within the platform. The system is free until you need to process payroll or you use Wave as your payment gateway. Even then the rates are reasonable and in cases lower than many other products.

What differentiates Wave from other similar products?

Wave is a company that has been around for quite some time, they mimic Quickbooks in many ways but is owned by HR Block. I find the process of tracking invoices easy, and being a service based business, I don't have to worry about taxes and such, but they do have the ability to integrate that into your accounting. I like the features they've aded including managing payroll, banking and payment processing. I miss some features that were taken away this year such as the receipt processing app...made it super easy, hoping to see that return to the main app eventually.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

The book keeping service! I work monthly with one of the Wave app team members reconciling my books and running reports. I pay monthly so I don't have to deal with a crunch at the end of the year. I find my reps to be personable, and available. In the three years they've done this for me, I've only had it swap out once, so the people working on your books are pretty consistent. I recommend this service for any business of one. I also like the payment processing.

What do you dislike most about this product?

Some of the book keeping aspects are a little confusing for me, but my background is in graphic design, not accounting or book keeping, hence why I get the help.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

Shop the market a bit, integrate this at the start of your fiscal year, don't leap into any new book keeping service in the middle of the year.

What differentiates Wave from other similar products?

I started with Wave after creating my own company which I "ran" as an owner. Wearing multiple hats is expected with a new startup, but the ease of having Wave Accounting to deal with all aspects of the accounting and bookkeeping side was truly a significant differentiating factor. I have tried out a number of other products and found Wave Accounting to be easier to use, quicker to implement and more intuitive to use.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

Not being an accountant or bookkeeper myself, I found that Wave Accounting very ably and easily took over these roles with a very easy learning curve (I implemented Wave Accounting myself)

What do you dislike most about this product?

Nothing. The only reason I stopped using it was that my business closed down.

You need to give this product a try RIGHT NOW!
