What differentiates Veritas Enterprise Vault from other similar products?

Its a well known product that has a history of doing well

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

The latest Web UI has been great, but Java GUI is lacking.

What do you dislike most about this product?

The latest Flex products have has some major flaws that Veritas has yet to find a fix for.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

Id say for medium size orgs, this product will do great. The 100,000 employee business might have some issues.

A product that saves space and has high recognition in the industry. I think it presents its features more realistically than other products.

Storage gain, fast access to archived files and e-mails.

What do you dislike most about this product?

Its interface is outdated and needs to be checked constantly.

There is no other option regarding archiving.

Data Encryption Protects your data from those who have physical access to storage media (including secure storage provider), and ensures data has only authorized access

Data Format Native Generic Offers multiple options from native proprietary format to industry-standard generic format to restore or import onto any target system

Data Compression Allows for more data to be stored on media. Data compression can potentially slow down access times to the data

Restore to Current Format Ability to restore to whichever “current” format the organization has in place at the time of archive data restoration
