Veeam is a Great On-site Backup Solution

What differentiates Veeam Data Platform from other similar products?
Veeam has been doing backup solutions for a long time with one of the best reputations for reliability and performance. The Veeam application is setup for easy administrative tasks and allows for easy backup and restore options. There staff seems to be have been with the company for a long time as well which shows they have a great internal organization, as we have dealings with the same employees over the years.
What is your favorite aspect of this product?
We like how well it backups all the data we add to it. It is able to reliably perform without to much user interaction. The backups have saved us on restores on a number of occasions and the clients like to hear when Veeam is backing up their data. The ability to search and find files for restores is setup very well and we can restore a file or folder faster with Veeam than other providers we use.
What do you dislike most about this product?
The program can take some time to load unless you have it on a server that is able to have an excess of resources. Support cases can take a few days to get resolved and there are times we do not get updates. The backups that fail are difficult to get working again and the error codes do not provide enough details. The on-site backups and not managed well from the cloud and we are mostly reliable on physical assets to keep the backups running continuosly.
What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?
Look into the other providers that are providing backup solutions and the way they're setup. Have your team do demos of the other providers you are considering and take good notes and scores of the features you are looking for. On-site and cloud backups are for different infrastructures so taking the time to look into all the options will help identify the best solution.

What differentiates Veeam Data Platform from other similar products?
One of my favorite aspects is that it is manageable and can take action on backup processes very quickly. In addition, it can manage the backup process of the servers in a planned manner.

My favorite aspect is that it can manage backup and recovery processes in a planned way. Ability to process the backup of each server by specifying a different day and date range.
What do you dislike most about this product?
I tried to backup macos devices several times and failed. Maybe the process can be an example.
What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?
If you do not want to lose data in your structure, you can include this product in your structure and increase the security of your structure.

The ability to continuously backup data with minimal data loss is a critical feature for customers. This feature can be used for mission-critical applications that need to be recovered quickly and without any data loss.

Before selecting any backup and recovery solution, it is essential to assess your backup and recovery needs. Consider factors such as the size of your environment, the criticality of your applications and data, your recovery time and recovery point objectives, and your budget. Please use this product.
