What differentiates TrakSYS from other similar products?
The unique thing about TrakSYS is its adaptability. Rather than imposing a rigid process on its users, it allows for its own adaptation to suit different manufacturing processes without a massive overhaul. Another important aspects of this system is that it incorporates production, traceability, quality control and performance in one software, which helps gain insight into manufacturing processes.
What is your favorite aspect of this product?
The best thing about it is that it allows me to have a clear view of everything that happens on the shop floor. When all the information regarding the production process, equipment, and critical KPIs are in one place, it becomes easier to comprehend he situation, instead of manually updating various reports.
What do you dislike most about this product?
The main weakness here is that it can be complicated to implement and customize. Even though the platform is highly flexible, any change will require technical skills, which may slow down the process of even minor customization. The user interface is decent but it could be more user friendly.
What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?
Prior to using TrakSYS, take time ot understand your business processes and reporting needs. This software is very customizable, and knowing what you want will prevent you from having to customize it excessively. In addition, make sure that you provide training for users early on as well.

TrakSYS is a modular manufacturing operations management platform. Unlike closed and rigid systems, it stands out for its open architecture, low-code platform and native integration with the main industrial protocols. This allows for agile, scalable and cost-effective deployments.
What is your favorite aspect of this product?
TrakSYS has truly enabled the construction of modular solutions that meet the specific requirements of each customer or manufacturing business model. We have used TrakSYS to support demands in a variety of industries from cosmetics, beverages and food to metals and mining. With its multi-site architecture capabilities, we have applications that manage more than 45 sites from a single central cloud instance.
What do you dislike most about this product?
TrakSYS is true to its value proposition, being a standard platform for the development of MES solutions and allowing the management of the entire life cycle of an MES implementation. In some implementations its cost can be quite high for some customers.
What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?
TrakSYS is certainly the right choice for those who want an MES solution adapted to their reality and culture. Its constant modernization based on a single platform enables a lower TCO and a durable life cycle.
