What differentiates ThreatLocker from other similar products?

The ability to ringfence certain items from performing certain tasks was the reason we purchased Threatlocker and remains a saving grace. Even if clients are not willing to move to a complete zero-trust platform, enforcing ringfencing policies over shell tools and our RMM allows me a great nights sleep.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

The best thing Threatlocker offers is their support. Every support tech is willing to work through your issue and are timely. Cyber Heroes rock!

What do you dislike most about this product?

It can be tough getting every needed program to a non noisy level of protection. You will need to know more about your environment or your clients environment and how every application that runs executes. etc. It is a learning experience for sure, but hey if you don't l;ike learning, why are you in tech?

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

Depending on your org size, be prepared to have a body available to champion the tool. It needs a dedicated hand who really cares about its success.

What differentiates ThreatLocker from other similar products?

The Support is second to none. They never push the blame and always eager to help you. They always offer to go above and beyond to assist you with your questions.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

Once its setup its very easy to manage. If it blocks and application client gets a popup and that logs a ticket to our helpdesk staff to review and approve the request. They can easily approve it allowing the application to work.

What do you dislike most about this product?

The setup can be a bit much to get all the policies built and fine tuned. But there support is great at working with you to get it done and done right.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

In a age where Zero trust is becoming the normal, ThreatLocker is great. It locks down the computers to permit exactly what you want to run and nothing else.

What differentiates ThreatLocker from other similar products?

While a plethora of security products exist in the market today, ThreatLocker's outstanding support, functionality, and team clearly separate it from the competition.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

ThreatLocker provides a sense of security to both us, the IT Administrators, and to the end user that no other product could hope to achieve. Simply knowing that your computers are secure when you clock out for the day is a godsend.

What do you dislike most about this product?

By design, ThreatLocker is prone to causing service interruptions for the end user. This can be mitigated with clear communication and discussing the product with your customers/ end users.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

Work closely with your Solutions Engineer; ask questions, follow best practices, and administer this tool daily.
