What differentiates Tableau from other similar products?

Tableau makes data analysis simple at every step, from data preparation to dashboard consumption. It's a fantastic business intelligence and data visualization application that lets you create reports and examine a lot of data.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

One of the best features of Tableau is that it supports almost all connectors like Teradata, Bigquery, and Snowflake. It also supports custom SQL for real-time data analysis. Additionally, it allows us to create relationships between multiple data sources.

What do you dislike most about this product?

Downloading large data sets can be time-consuming.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

Tableau is an ideal platform for all types of businesses, making it easy to create dashboards and data analysis, and features like data visualization make it easy to turn large volumes of data into aesthetically pleasing graphs.

What differentiates Tableau from other similar products?

Without writing a single piece of code or SQL query, visually appealing dashboards can be created. For user, he or she can change scenario by clicking on objects and get the resultant output. When you have large set of data and you are unable to make sense, just drop the file on Tableau and visual charts will help easily find patterns. Each dashboard or story can be shared with your peers by a link or embedded into a website.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

If there are a number of files, Tableau by itself most of the time can spot the relationship between fields in different files.

What do you dislike most about this product?

Though it is true that no programming knowledge needed, there is still a learning curve initially. The good news is that there is an active Tableau community and any query raised receive reply within minutes.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

Tableau has both free community edition on cloud and pro version. Start with the free community edition. Even this edition is comprehensive.
