Great Product, Great Price

What differentiates Tableau from other similar products?
Tableau is becoming more and more common. It's easy to use out of the box with little training. You will need help from IT to get the data sources setup but after that you should have relatively easy path to create some visualizations.
What is your favorite aspect of this product?
I like the ease of use out of the box. I had little training to get started and was able to create some reports right away. As anything, the more you use it, the easier tasks become.
What do you dislike most about this product?
One of the difficulties with Tableau is the mapping piece. It maps nice but doesn't like to play well when dealing with multiple countries.
What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?
The cost is less expensive than some of the higher more complex tools. This product gives you solid functionality at a fraction of the cost. Great decision.
Pros
- Helps Innovate
- Continually Improving Product
- Performance Enhancing
- Enables Productivity

What differentiates Tableau from other similar products?
Tableau is a brilliant product to delve deep into data and set up results in a visually appealing way, especially for those who are visual learners. You can create reports, detailed dashboards in a pretty easy and timely manner.
What is your favorite aspect of this product?
I love how easy Tableau makes it to aggregate data at different levels. Need to switch between daily/weekly/monthly/quarterly/yearly? No problem. Need sum/avg/median, etc. No problem either. Compared to SQL, it's so much easier to explore your data visually and flexibly. I also like that I can embed LucidChart diagrams in my Tableau dashboards - this makes it much easier to document processes & logic.
What do you dislike most about this product?
Performance: When working with large amounts of data, Tableau can become slow and unwieldy, negatively impacting the user experience.
What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?
Two outstanding feature of this tool that is especially helpful for producing quality reports is the presentation of data in live graphs and translation of queries to visualizations. Lastly would say the strong community base where I had faced issues regarding server issues, dashboards, sign-in glitches and I have received help within 1-2 hours.
Pros
- Efficient Service
- Security Protects
- Continually Improving Product
- Reliable

Its flexibility and ease of use which allows for quick and efficient analysis of complex data sets. For example, I appreciate how easy it is to transform raw data into visually appealing and meaningful insights that can be shared with stakeholders and decision-makers.
