What differentiates Tableau from other similar products?
Tableu supports multiple data source connections. Some of the most important data sources that we've effectively connected Tableu to includes ; database technologies, SAP and HADOOP. The ability to connect to a variety of data sources, helps to improve the quality of the analytics we generate , and ensures that we are maintaining a unified and informative data dashboard.
What is your favorite aspect of this product?
Tableu has a mobile application , that I will term very efficient, at least from my own experiences with it. This mobile application adds mobility to my Tableu experience, and enable me keep statistics at my fingertips. Most importantly for me, the Tableu mobile application supports similar functionalities , like those obtainable on Tableu desktop and Tableu online.
What do you dislike most about this product?
Tableu fails to provide a centralized data level security protocol , which should be a necessity , since Tableu is used for manipulating sensitive data . The row-level security that Tableu provides is simply inadequate.
What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?
Tableus visuals are probably the best amongst mainstream business intelligence tools. Tableu supports both online and desktop software versions , which encourages a dynamic access to data insights.

Visually dashboards that are self-illuminating

What differentiates Tableau from other similar products?
Once data uploaded, creating dashboards are easy with drag and drop. Initially, there is a slight learning curve, but there is a large community providing help on their support forums. While Excel can corrupt main data, SQL not touched by non programmers. Tableau is great for creating visually illuminating dashboards so that even those not trained in data science or statistics can find meaning with data.
What is your favorite aspect of this product?
Bubble type graph with size of the bubble reflecting say flights cancelled with reference to destination airport the easy way to the audience. Map type graph for say observing flights cancelled/diverted through the lens of geographical region.
What do you dislike most about this product?
Apparently not compatible with older version of Windows.
What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?
Tableau will take your data analysis endeavors to the next level. By changing parameters, you can play with different scenarios while finding important insights just looking at the graphs generated.

What differentiates Tableau from other similar products?
With Tableau, we are able to identify trends, recognise new opportunities, improve productivity and more. We can also connect to one or various sources, whether the incoming data is from a spreadsheet, cloud-based or enterprise data software.
What is your favorite aspect of this product?
Tableau has high-level data integration and advanced analytics & reporting. It also has a great text analytics feature to give us more contextual insights into our data.
What do you dislike most about this product?
What I think can be improved is the Search & Conversational Analytics to enable a faster and easier way to ask questions and discover new insights by way of natural language.
What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?
Tableau wonderfully allows users to integrate their apps and deliver reports and real-time dashboards. Some benefits of this particular tool include handy visualisations and powerful collaboration features.
