I think this is best in class product if you are looking for compelling visualizations and ease to use. Also, its really easy to deploy the tool company wide.

1) Very Limited Data Modelling Capacity 2) Limited default visualizations: one needs to use complex calculations to build complex visualizations.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

If you want to build compelling visualization in your BI reporting, this is the tool. Also, it has the best online community available to help those in need. Also, tableau public can prove to be a great inspiration in your report building.

Its pricing can be challenging for small businesses.

Salesforce crm is a pioneer in CRM and Tableau being a part of salesforce is the best BI tool.
