Easy to use Analytics Tool with variety of charts

Likeliness to Recommend

9 /10

What differentiates Tableau from other similar products?

Tableau has a wide variety of charts to represent data. Most of the analytics tools have some additional charts in their marketplace under development but Tableau lets us select and use multiple charts without the hustle of searching the marketplace

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

Tableau can connect to almost every structured data source be it on-premise or in the cloud. The connection is seamless and needs to be set up only once. Sharing the reports with anyone is easy too. We can either share it online or download a .twbx file and share the file

What do you dislike most about this product?

Since Tableau is not web-based, sometimes it takes more time than expected to fetch the data from the underlying query and populate the charts. This in turn results in more time in updating and populating the dashboard containing multiple metrics

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

Tableau is definitely worth trying. It has a variety of charts to represent your data and add value to data insights. It is very easy to use and the Tableau team has also published basic tutorials on how to use Tableau and its features on their website.

Pros

  • Continually Improving Product
  • Reliable
  • Performance Enhancing
  • Enables Productivity

Powerful Data Visualization Tool

Likeliness to Recommend

9 /10

What differentiates Tableau from other similar products?

The abundance of quality data visualizations and self service analytics. Real time data with the ability create and share interactive dashboards makes this tool elite.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

Best overall data visualization tool available in the market. Tableau generates visuals from enormous, constantly-evolving datasets used for AI, ML, and Big Data applications by integrating complex databases such as Teradata, My SQL and more. It offers great flexibility to create and modify existing dashboards.

What do you dislike most about this product?

Tableau doesn't compute much ETL and data modelling capabilities.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

It's a very powerful tool. Although it may initially seem quite complex to grasp, it does become a lot easier to use with practice. We have many interactive dashboards we share with our stakeholders. Saves the time of running ad-hoc requests and gives them to power to use the data themselves.

Fast and efficient data analysis software

Likeliness to Recommend

10 /10

What differentiates Tableau from other similar products?

Most data sources are easier to integrate, making it easier to automate reports and produce excellent graphics. Welfare benefits and data governance guidelines aid in securing the maintenance, reporting, and control of client data at the user level. One of the best platforms for showcasing original content is Tableau Viz of the Day.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

The capacity to handle massive data sets is one of our most valuable assets. We particularly like that it provides comprehensive import/export capabilities and live data source connections, including fast and dependable SQL databases. The dashboards and reports work nicely on mobile devices and are responsive. The information supplied by other users on creating sophisticated dashboards employing parameters, sets, and measures is extensive and insightful.

What do you dislike most about this product?

The learning curve for using the app can be somewhat steep, so it might take some time to become used to it. Many user interface components are not simple when conducting analysis or creating visualisations. To ensure the desktop product's maximum functionality, this could be required. The user should be given access to more training materials to use the technology more efficiently.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

If you can put up a simple report, it might look fantastic. Perfect graphs and figures are present. Additionally, it offers easy user administration. It is pretty simple to combine different data sources. Simple report creation with built-in analytics that aid with data entering. Already provided are predetermined data. Sometimes templates are sufficient, and we don't even need to create reports.

Pros

  • Helps Innovate
  • Continually Improving Product
  • Reliable
  • Enables Productivity
