What differentiates Splunk Enterprise Security from other similar products?

Splunk's logs-aggregation is a life-savior. Specifically for me and my team - this is by far the best logging research software in the market

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

The ease of use of the logs research option + its usability

Setting alerts from logs-searches is a bit unfriendly and can be improved

What differentiates Splunk Enterprise Security from other similar products?

Seamless and powerful integration across enterprise as well as OT systems as this coverage counts a lot when logs must correlate across OT and IT systems within airline operations It is rich in apps and add-ons allowing IT teams in aviation to tailor workflows, dashboards and the likes to the unique operations

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

It’s strong incident response integration with automated remediation logic, SOAR playbooks It’s unified view of security and the operational events which helps in fast diagnosis of if an issue is a security incident, a configuration fault or error due to use, rather than guessing

What do you dislike most about this product?

Tailoring this tool for specific aviation KPIs, workflows and compliance metrics requires a lot of effort such as dedicated configuration time

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

Optimize data ingestion by filtering the non critical events while prioritizing IT/OT interaction logs, security logs, or the operational performance metrics so as to control the costs at the same time focus on the highly valued data
