Dundas can help deal with complex data situations

What differentiates Simba from other similar products?

I would cite date handling as a key differentiator - all the metrics are built in for intelligent day, week, quarter, year. Also the data cube designer is easier for me to use than Power BI. Dundas also allows for for compound table joins.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

The business results and time-savings for end users based on the dashboards created are very significant. I love saving big blocks of work hours formerly wasted working in and with Excel.

What do you dislike most about this product?

Remodeling an existing dashboard structure or underlying data cube to metric set can be a challenge to keep connected. The error messages are cryptic and require Tech Support to translate (not in US English).

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

Personally, if you tried Power BI, you'll be pleasantly surprised and rewarded with the ease of use of Dundas on many facets, including security and appropriate access to confidential information which is cleverly done in Dundas!
