What differentiates SAP SuccessFactors HCM from other similar products?
I have only used one other product for Vacation Time management, and it wasn't an HR software, it was a payroll software.
What is your favorite aspect of this product?
one thing I do like about SF is the hiring process - there is a timeline that shows you how far along in the hiring process you are which is neat. This isn't the main reason I use SF, but for the times that I need to reference it, it can be helpful.
What do you dislike most about this product?
SF isn't intuitive or user friendly. We have used SF for almost 3yrs & I still have at least 2 or 3 people WEEKLY that email me asking how they can see their vacay balances, or asking me to adjust their Time off Requests because they can't find how to do it themselves, The time off screen shows the days that you've accrued as of the date you're looking at the balances, when in reality people want to know how many days they have for the entire year to book off. You have to change the date to 12/31/20xx to see how many total days you have to use, & this setting doesn't stay- so every time you leave the page & come back it needs to be reset.
What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?
if this is the first HR management product you've ever used, you may be satisfied.

What differentiates SAP SuccessFactors HCM from other similar products?
From what I've seen, SAP success factors seems to have a better integration system for playing data Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Access when necessary. In addition, the user interface makes the software virtually dummy proof. This means that someone who has never used the program before can figure it out in a matter of minutes rather than having to go through hours or days of training
What is your favorite aspect of this product?
My favorite aspect of the software is how user friendly it is and how versatile it is. The software receives regular updates which allow it to recognize and work in conjunction with various other softwares for data retention and training tracking
What do you dislike most about this product?
I would say the only major issue with the software is that that it is very dependent upon the user to troubleshoot any issues that arise.
What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?
Think about how much automation you would like to have in the software you use for HR and payroll related matters. Depending on what exactly you need automated, the software could be quite beneficial.

What differentiates SAP SuccessFactors HCM from other similar products?
The overall efficiency and ease of use with a wide spectrum of features makes it an ideal tool. Integration capabilities are also a feature to look forward to.
What is your favorite aspect of this product?
Employee benefits, Time and attendance and HR compliance features provide the most value add in the current usage.
What do you dislike most about this product?
UI and overall speed of operations can be improved.
What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?
It's a great tool for managing your employee benefits and compliance management.
