What differentiates SAP BusinessObjects from other similar products?

SAP BusinessObjects Business Intelligence (BI) is a straightforward method to form reports with tables and charts from a database. The reports is simply set up to run automatically, therefore no more manual handling is needed once the report is set up. This can be terribly useful for pulling varied client sales metrics, including dollar revenue, units, and volume. There are various alternative universes that you simply can use to induce correct data cut by timing, customers, and so on.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

I favor I can find information that ties to my job functions like looking at purchase order(PO) history on bill of material things that we procure from vendors and additionally work order data on parts that we create in-house. I favor the interface of SAP Bi too, which I notice easier on the eyes than the quality SAP software. I favor the fact that it offers quality reportage and that it’s simple enough to use that I will use it with least effort.

What do you dislike most about this product?

Though SAP BusinessObjects Business Intelligence (BI) normally works quite well, it can be a small amount tough to get the reports to output in excel correctly. In addition, it’d be nice if it had been easier to copy over information and tables from one report back to another report.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

If you have an SAP data set-up, I’d suggest having your business look into setting up Business Objects. It will create your life pulling in information a lot easier and need less SQL expertise.
