Even during a trial and my short few-month stint, I noticed SAP CDP stands out for its real-time, AI-driven segmentation and personalization, plus deep integration with SAP’s broader ecosystem, providing more unified customer insights than standalone CDPs.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

What I appreciate most is the platform’s ability to unify behavioral and backend data and trigger personalized engagements in real time. It significantly boosted our targeting during campaigns and felt powerful even in limited use.

What do you dislike most about this product?

From a shorter usage cycle there are two things: the learning curve is steep, and setting up integrations required some support. I also found navigating advanced segmentation a bit clunky initially.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

Start with a focused pilot: use real-time triggers and segmentation against a small campaign first. Map your integration needs early, consider expert support during that first month, and lean on SAP’s training. They actually helped speed things up for me.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

identity depth. One logistics client could be tracked across portals, EDI feeds, and manual call-ins. That let me model which customers absorbed variability well and which ones punished it commercially

What do you dislike most about this product?

The friction lives in orchestration effort. It wants structure before speed. Every useful dataset needs careful modelling. Real-time fleet feeds are noisy. SAP CDP makes you tame them properly or suffer later

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

If your customer systems are already stitched. Then SAP CDP becomes a strategic nervous system rather than a fancy database
