The fact that it enables me to be effective is among its best features.

What do you dislike most about this product?

Planning in Import Data, especially Excel Data Sources, is very challenging and immutable. It is unstable; you can experience a problem when you least expect it. Tool Sets are useless in edit mode. To use them, it needs more knowledge. At first, connecting to on premise data sources was difficult.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

This software provides BI, planning, a digital boardroom, and predictive analytics all in one place. There isn't another product on the market that offers all these features under one roof, as far as I could tell. Due to the platform's core machine learning capabilities, which make the solution future-proof, it offers a distinctive value proposition.

What differentiates SAP Analytics Cloud from other similar products?

All dashboards will be uniform. Thus, dashboard developers won't even need to think about them because they come with them already. The use case for SAC differs from that of PowerBI or Tableau since I don't consider it a reliable self-service tool or program for skilled analysts. SAC with Live Connection is the best option for businesses looking to create centralized, dedicated reporting environments.

Future reporting and analytics technology is still very much in the past. It falls short of its promises. We employ platforms for reporting and planning. Reporting is acceptable. However, the planning platform needs more fundamentals and is quite rudimentary and unstable. This software provides BI, planning, a digital boardroom, and predictive analytics all in one place. There isn't another product on the market that offers all these features under one roof. This platform provides a distinctive offering because it has built-in machine-learning capabilities.

What do you dislike most about this product?

Although it has yet to reach that level, overall tool maturity is improving. The creation of dashboards necessitates both frontends and, at the very least, backend knowledge. The performance will always be complex without a well-designed and optimized backend. Data integration challenges that were quite inadequate a few years ago still exist today, particularly in terms of functionality for 3rd party sources for live data consumption.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

SAC is an overall respectable product. There are two areas where improvements could result in quick gains. I suggest emulating Tableau's strategy for both of them. A good tool for data protection. If someone tries to log in or commits theft, an alert is given, and the device is closed if the incorrect code is input more than three times. As a result, SAP has wholly safeguarded our data.
