What differentiates SAP Analytics Cloud from other similar products?

SAP Analytics gives more insights. It is quick and easy to learn. Videos are pretty good. It has so many options in regards to creating visually interesting reports that dashboards

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

Good visuals - end users can independently edit stories and ‘drag and drop’ dimensions to create meaningful visualisation. Collaborative features – I feel that collaborative features have always been an after-thought in BI. The collaborative tools in SAC really are a game changer. Annotations, threads, mobile capability and calendars have allowed SAC to become a great tool for teams. Digital Boardroom - this is a perfect balance of great data visualisation and UI, to give the board and senior management opportunities to explore business critical data.

What do you dislike most about this product?

No Dislikes as such. SAP is continuously improving and providing updates on SAC. It has option in SAP Analytics cloud to send the feedback as well and this really great.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

SAP analytics cloud gives you various features for business critical like Analytics designer, planning capabilities and smart predict. Machine learning algorithms are perfectly designed for the prediction.

What differentiates SAP Analytics Cloud from other similar products?

It provides one single user-experience for several BI aspects such as data visualization, data modelling, predictive, planning, collaboration, ... It is a complete tool that integrates well with SAP source systems, as well as non-SAP systems. Really intuitive to use and heading the right way with a clear strategy.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

They continuously enhance the features and quality of features. The security and administration part of SAC is also great to work with.

What do you dislike most about this product?

They use different scripting languages for different purposes. SQL for data integration, Javascript for analytical applications, another language for SAC planning, R for custom visualization panels. That's the only area where I think the 'one single user experience' doesn't apply, even though i'm speaking for the developer.Cc

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

SAC is ideal for self service. Having business process owners that need to explore data to find new insights has never been easier than with SAC.
