Insight VM incorporates threat data and exploitability, allowing us to prioritize the small percentage of vulnerabilities that pose an immediate verified threat to the specific environment. It also shares data with detection and response tools, providing a single pane of glass for the entire security lifecycle.

‎The Active Risk Scoring model stands out as the most valuable component of Rapid7 InsightVM. This feature provides much clarity. Rather than relying on static severity scores, it enriches data with threat intelligence, exploitability, and attacker behavior. The Live Dashboards are another remarkable element providing dynamic visibility that updates as scans complete. They allow for instant querying of the environment.

What do you dislike most about this product?

‎There is a known frustration with how the on-premises console talks to the Insight Cloud. Assets that have been deleted can still show up as ghost entries, which messes up the inventory.

‎I find that Rapid7 InsightVM is a top-tier choice for any modern security team, and I highly recommend it for its ability to turn a mountain of data into a clear plan of action.
