What differentiates Qualys VMDR from other similar products?

Qualys VMDR feels different from other tools because everything you need is in one place. It not only finds your assets and scans them, but also helps you understand which risks actually matter and lets you start fixing them right away. The constant, real-time visibility and lightweight agent make it easy to keep track of things without slowing anything down. I like that it connects discovery, prioritization, and patching in a smooth flow, which saves a lot of time and effort compared to juggling multiple products.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

I really like how Qualys VMDR brings everything together in one smooth workflow. Being able to see all assets, understand the biggest risks, and start fixing issues without jumping between different tools feels clean and efficient. It makes the whole security process lighter and sweeter to manage

What do you dislike most about this product?

The thing I dislike most is that the interface can feel a bit busy at first. There’s a lot of capability packed into the platform, so it takes a little time to get comfortable with where everything lives. Once you get used to it, it’s fine, but the initial learning curve could be smoother.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

Take a little time to explore the platform before rolling it out fully. Qualys VMDR has a lot of useful features, and getting familiar with the layout and workflow makes everything smoother once you start using it across your environment.

Asset discovery and painless pathing of assets.

What differentiates Qualys VMDR from other similar products?

I can see the vulnerabilities for multiple assets in one screen. Running or scheduling multiple scans as well as checking in on the scan status using customisable dashboards saves a lot of time. Patch management has been a game changer with cloud agents and scanner agents to help prioritise and deploy the latest patches helps reduce turn around time

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

Dash boarding capability. Scheduling not only scans but also the reports can be scheduled and sent through the mail

What do you dislike most about this product?

Reporting can be made easier. For example one mail to share reports for multiple pdf reports, so that only one report is not there for multiple assets

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

Would recommend to go for cloud scanners as this tool can become a one stop all source of information
