What differentiates Perforce ALM from other similar products?

Workflows that can be modified for each object. Powerful reporting skills, including the capacity to customise reports. Ability to create documents. The pricing is lower than some other ALM systems with features that we don’t need. Helix ALM is an extremely flexible platform that can be used to handle requirements, tests, and defects. Quickly after being contacted, the support staff delivers its aid.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

The support team is always very accommodating and prepared to assist us with any problems we may have. We adore being able to automatically export protocols, reports, trace matrices, and a tonne more from Helix using our own Microsoft Word Export Templates. In our highly regulated sector, it aids us in producing consistent documentation that adheres to our stringent Quality Policy.

What do you dislike most about this product?

Helix ALM is good software overall, and I can’t think of anything I don’t like about it. However, I think some elements should be improved, like the word template, which would make projects move more smoothly.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

As a software developer, I consider Helix ALM to be exceptional software because of its superb automation and wide range of possibilities for development artifacts. Additionally, it enables us to connect the dots among its features, such as test runs, test cases, problems, needs, etc. Instant update to the most recent version to make it simple to add new users and licenses, alter the fields and text to more easily adapt to project requirements, and centralize testing and error capturing.
