What differentiates Palo Alto Network Security NGFW from other similar products?

Palo alto has few unique features like app-id and user-id, even other firewalls have same concepts, but what granular control palo alto provides, others are yet to reach there.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

The product is most stable firewall device and have much more feature than other devices of the lot.

What do you dislike most about this product?

Only disliking part the device may be its costing, as many feel that this device is over priced., but you get what you pay for.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

Without even second thought, go with this firewall, if your security budget allows you to do so.

Ease to use the products when you compare with other vendors providing firewall solution

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

The technical support of Palo Alto is superb and the response time from the support team is also very comparatively less compared to other vendors.

What do you dislike most about this product?

It is very difficult to configure the policies and rules via CLI.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

If you have on prem and cloud deployment, you should consider Palo Alto NGFW products and combine it with Panorama, and the security aspects can be streamlined by a great margin.
