What differentiates Oracle Sourcing from other similar products?

Oracle Sourcing Cloud is tightly integrated with all other Oracle procurement modules namely, Self service procurement, Procurement contracts, Purchasing, Cloud Supplier portal etc.Various types of bids and auctions can be Organized with ease. Templates can be set up. Reports can be run from the tool. The tool can evaluate the bids from various suppliers and recommend the winners automatically.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

The tool offers great user experience, inbuilt analytics, tight integration with other modules. Approvals can be configured using a flexible, drag and drop tool called business process management.

What do you dislike most about this product?

Some industries like Public sector, Construction have unique use cases related to complex purchase orders. some of these features were available in oracle on premise software. These features need to be added to the cloud version too.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

The product is intuitive and does not need much training.The product is flexible and can be configured according to the enterprise needs. Be part of Oracle user groups and attend webinars from Oracle to learn more about the product.

Navigation is difficult. There's not an "overview" page/summary. Everything is compartmentalized.
