What differentiates Microsoft Power BI from other similar products?

Power BI offers programming implementation to use python or R to further filter or parse your data models.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

I love that Power BI uses power query, a practical tool built into excel. Power query is an already familiar tool that allows us to quickly create data models and visualizations. Power BI also allows integration would numerous types of relational data sets.

What do you dislike most about this product?

The learning curve for this product is steep but not as steep as other relational database visualization tools. There are not a ton of simple resources to learn Power BI

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

Proper consultation is key. Have someone evaluate the way that you collect data and offer suggestions on how to best suite it for Power BI
