What differentiates Microsoft Power BI from other similar products?

There are few things that stands Power BI out among the rest of the visualization tool. 1) Its very cheap; it comes integrated with Microsoft Suite. 2) It gives a lot more power in the hands of the developer for customization. 3) Easy to learn. If you have created dashboard in Excel, then you would be able to create Power BI dashboards.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

It has tons of features, customizations and easy to learn.

What do you dislike most about this product?

I don't have anything to dislike the product.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

If they are trying to learn any visualization tool for the first time, then Power BI is the right pick. If they are on a tight budget but want lot of features. If they are looking to integrate third party applications.

What differentiates Microsoft Power BI from other similar products?

Power BI comes after Tableau, so it has better data modeling, visualization, and reporting functionality as compared to many other data and BI tools. Power BI enables a simple user to automate their reports even using excel input and without having a knowledge of advanced connectors.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

DAX syntax is my favorite part of the product if someone is an advanced excel user or has a background in accounting and finance, DAX helps them to boost heir skill to the next level. its an incredible combination of SQL and excel functions.

What do you dislike most about this product?

The capacity to handle a highe volume of data without a premium license, at some point Power BI desktop took ages to refresh reports and models if the data volume is high.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

I definitely recommend Power BI to all corporate and small businesses if they are interested in enhancing their reporting capability, interested in building some creative and simple visuals. It makes data literacy simplest and easiest.
