What differentiates Microsoft Exchange Online Protection from other similar products?

What I think differentiates MS EOP from other similar products are the robust ATP (safe links, safe attachments) and its DLP that prevents accidental or intentional leaks of the company's sensitive data, e.g., SSNs. Others include scalability capabilities, its real-time reporting, and, mostly, its cost effectiveness since it's hosted in the cloud by Microsoft.
