Microsoft Defender Is Effective and Efficient
Likeliness to Recommend
What differentiates Microsoft Defender for Endpoint from other similar products?
It is included with the OS and there are not really any comparable software in this respect. If you want to roll out any other security software across all client machines, you will need to pay an annual subscription fee.
What is your favorite aspect of this product?
It is free and it is automatically rolled out with the operating system as it is installed. There is really nothing more to do.
What do you dislike most about this product?
There is no real way to see what is going on in the background without looking specifically for it. This makes it difficult to manage a large number of client machines to see what is going on.
What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?
Nothing really to think about. When you install Windows, keep Microsoft Defender enabled and then install any additional malware protection alongside of it for a total security solution.
Pros
- Helps Innovate
- Continually Improving Product
- Reliable
- Performance Enhancing
