What differentiates Microsoft SQL Server from other similar products?

Microsoft SQL Server is the leader in its market. It is a well known by professionals.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

Microsoft SQL Server is able to handle large amount of data and queries. It is great for data integrations.

What do you dislike most about this product?

We have experienced issues with how microsoft SQL server is using storage and memory, while after a shrink or reset the issues are resolved. Therefore technically there should be sufficient space, however MS SQL server seems to be handling it in a inefficient manner.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

Determine the size of the data involved. For smaller databases, another product could be considered.

In terms of cost benefits, in my opinion, it is the best RDBMS at the moment.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

Transaction management in a very granular, perfectly customizable way.

What do you dislike most about this product?

it would be interesting if microsoft did free courses or webinars to update on what's new in each version

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

Already a standard version can do a lot, evaluate the actual needs well before choosing a version
