Synapse stands out because it brings data warehousing, Spark processing, and data pipelines together in a single workspace. Instead of switching between separate services, everything stays connected within the Azure ecosystem. The tight integration with Azure Data Lake, Power BI, and other cloud services makes it much easier to build end-to-end analytics workflows.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

My favorite part is how easy it is to combine SQL and Spark workloads in the same environment. Being able to run transformations, build pipelines, and explore data without leaving the workspace saves a lot of time and keeps the process more organized.

What do you dislike most about this product?

The biggest challenge is the complexity of managing different pools and understanding the performance settings. It takes some time to learn how everything fits together, especially when switching between serverless and dedicated resources.
