If you want to fill the identity gaps and get compliance like iso or hippa it is great product and can easily fit into current ad environment

As many other Microsoft product, the easy implementation and management of the solution in one of the big difference with other vendors, also the security and reliability offers by Microsoft

You can find all the information in the Microsoft portal to answer your questions and learn all the details needed before you purchase the solution, but if you have connections from your on premises network to the microsoft cloud dont hesitate on implementing Azure ExpressRoute.
