What differentiates Microsoft Azure ExpressRoute from other similar products?

There are other options available in the market that gives same functionality like VPN gateway, S2S VPN and P2S VPN that makes use of public internet which costs lesser than Azure Express route however security, latency and complexity involved are much lesser than express route circuits.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

Encryption via private connection and higher bandwidth are the features which i love the most..!!

What do you dislike most about this product?

Costs, limited network service providers and complexity to deploy is what i dislike..!!

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

If you need your data to be highly secured and encrypted on a private connection this is a great option however if costs come in to play then other options are to be explored.
