Incredibly awesome with backing up VMs,files,Folders,SQL and database without a need for maintaining dedicated backup servers and no setups.

It nails it for seamless native integration which simplifies everything with just click,configure and go.

Glad for zero infrastructure backup and so far got no problems.

What differentiates Microsoft Azure Backup from other similar products?

Microsoft Azure Backup have an advantage over other backup solutions, namely that it interacts with the MS Azure environment cohesively. This integration aids in enabling the users to be able to manage all their cloud resources on a single portal whose backup effectiveness is appropriately optimised. Further, it is expandable enough in terms of capacity to cater for every scale of business in as much as the data may grow in the future.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

As for me, one of the most appreciated characteristics of the MSC Microsoft Azure Backup is that the data is protected on multiple levels of security. The solution incorporates the advanced encryption practises when transmitting the information and even when it is kept within the cloud. This operative security structure not only protects potential information leak but also creates credible assurance to organisations that value data privacy and fragmented with regulatory provisions.

What do you dislike most about this product?

The first issue that directly affects the effective work of Microsoft Azure Backup can be considered a stable high-speed internet connexion. In the case of weak connectivity, which is a common characteristic of many organisations, the backup processes may be tremendously affected resulting to data loss or lengthy recovery period. Such dependence on the stability of the internet may prove to be disadvantageous in certain organisations.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

When using Microsoft Azure Backup it is, therefore, crucial to look at the organisation’s particular needs for data protection. The second criterion that must be achieved, therefore, retention of data is volume, recovery time objectives and compliance requirements to ensure that it fits into the operational goals of the business. It’s also important to conduct a pilot test in order to see how it functions as well.
