What differentiates MetaCompliance Security Awareness Training from other similar products?

Effective training is key, and MetaCompliance addresses this with its vast variety of training material, from short nano training videos to informational PDFs. Previous solutions we have used, too often the courses are either too long or not that engaging....this has not been the case with MetaCompliance, with its real life live action scenarios ('Cyber Police' series), to it's short animation style training.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

If you choose to self-manage the platform, you do have access to pre-built campaigns, which you can either run as they are or customise as you wish. By using the pre-built campaigns, it means that the platform is very low maintenance, but for me personally, I wanted to customised the phishing templates to reflect more what my business did making the simulated phishing attacks look less obvious. Also, the Teams integration works very well, meaning that staff are able to access training very easily..

What do you dislike most about this product?

The admin portal is not always the most easy to navigate, but once you understand the terminology used, it does become more straightforward. We also faced a few difficulties adding our own phishing domains due to a few technical issues on the back end, but the support team at MetaCompliance were fully committed to resolve asap, which they did.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

From the very start, the support received by the team at MetaCompliance has been excellent, with weekly catch-up meetings to see how we are getting on, and any support tickets raised, responded to almost immediately. Too often, once a contract has been signed, you are almost forgotten, but this was definitely not the case with MetaCompliance. We chose to self-manage the platform ourselves, and once we'd been shown what to do, the platform itself is pretty easy to navigate and campaigns straight forward to set up. The variety of training resources is extensive (live action & animation).

The customization on their platform differentiates them from their competitors.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

The ability to download the course content in raw format in order to fully customize is.

What do you dislike most about this product?

The fact you have to pay for SCORM exports, even though it's literally software that doesn't require additional costs.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

They were innovating with content a lot, we left partially because of old content that was a bit too cringe to use.

What differentiates MetaCompliance Security Awareness Training from other similar products?

It has a great breadth of training, and the pre-produced content is more interesting than the content we saw from similar products. The support team is as highly engaged with us as we want, and ready to assist any time.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

The custom training features and controls, that allow me to assemble a training that fits the needs of my company.

What do you dislike most about this product?

The trainings tend to be a bit basic. Many are fine for my general company, but for trainings more targeted at my technical employees they can be embarrassingly simple. The workflow has a bit of a learning curve that I would like to be improved and more intuitive, with a couple quirks that can greatly impact a training delivery.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

This is an excellent general training product, and the content is better than most we reviewed. It is a bit basic, but you could develop more technical training outside and use Meta Compliance to deliver it. This is one of the better features of the platform - customizability.
