What differentiates LogicMonitor Platform from other similar products?

The IT division uses this product on its own time and away from the company. The flexibility to integrate many device vendors we had in our environment was a key factor in our decision to choose LogicMonitor. Compared to other monitoring programs, the license fee is reasonable, and the functions are improved.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

We primarily use the Logic monitor for infrastructure monitoring of our servers, network, and clusters and I like how well it performs in these areas. Features and designs of LogicMonitor help us with hard problems with our on-premise monitor and alert system. Furthermore, LogicMonitor was able to provide us with visibility into every infrastructure component.

What do you dislike most about this product?

One thing that I dislike is that the complex arrangement for particular things and APIs for applications from third parties may be improved. Moreover, they Could use more reporting options rather than this. I had no dislikes about it.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

We significantly rely on LogicMonitor and have created numerous custom data sources to track a wide range of products for various clients. Logic monitoring is compulsory for businesses that need to increase IT operations visibility and decrease workloads so that their IT teams may concentrate on more strategic projects.

What differentiates LogicMonitor Platform from other similar products?

LogicMonitor allowed us to see all of the infrastructure components as well as the specifics of alerting. It sends out emergency alerts to the appropriate teams via email and text. Its popularity is growing every day as its capabilities and performance improvements. We monitor network traffic, servers, databases, application faults and basic performance, logs, and many more.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

LogicMonitor is used to monitor the operation and health of all of our internal IT systems in our data center, as well as our client equipment at customer locations. We have our own data center, but we also have hundreds of devices at client locations that we need to monitor and control for their health and performance. My favorite aspect of LogicMonitor is the simplicity with which I can expand my monitoring capabilities, and, to be honest, the attributes.

What do you dislike most about this product?

I wish they had more support for older monitoring that relies on SNMP traps. It would be nice to have the option of a basic device add vs. a complicated device add. I think this may work in our favor.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

I would appreciate your decision if you want to use LogicMonitor. Due to several aspects, I truly love it. The dashboard may be substantially customized to provide us with complete control over what we wish to focus on. The capacity to monitor almost everything. It is simple to deploy, add devices, create alarms, and so on. It's quite adaptable and customizable.

What differentiates LogicMonitor Platform from other similar products?

Through this single tool, we can monitor our complete environment, including servers, networks, and telephony. In addition, we can monitor apps in our environment. The ability to maintain high availability has been extremely beneficial to us. The majority of the required MIBs/OIDs are already part of the native monitoring, allowing us to quickly establish our monitoring space.

What do you dislike most about this product?

In terms of net flow, it's severely inadequate, and it's far too little for a mid-sized company. The number of flows per box is insufficient, and the data may be incorrect. The NetFlow report is untrustworthy. Certainly, support isn't ideal. Many issues were not resolved until they were escalated to senior management.

If you require a solution that can monitor your infrastructure from anywhere, provides 24/7 online assistance, is highly compatible with most of your hardware, is cost-effective, and is simple to set up and manage, then LogicMonitor is the one who can fulfill your requirements.
