"Laserfiche: A Digital Savior with Excellent U.I.!

What differentiates Laserfiche from other similar products?
The major differentiator for us was a great benefit: a system like Laserfiche. The business' change control, KYC processing, and approvals, to name a few, all continued with minimal disruption to business operations. During the handover of some processes, our reseller MBS was fantastic; the guys explained things very well and to a point where I could pick it up after a few sessions. Also, features such as metadata management & ECM document management are really great, which also makes it stand out.
What is your favorite aspect of this product?
When I joined my current employer, everything was paper-based; forms would physically move around the office gathering signatures. All KYC documents from customers came via the mail and were kept in large boxes on a shelf. I was added to the "Paperless Office" project (after the purchase of Laserfiche and server-level deployments), and I slowly took on more work on (workflows, forms, scanning - application level) I was assigned to this full-time and then worked with the various departments to begin digitizing their processes. Not long after all our business-critical processes were moved to IT, they surpassed our expectations by 100 x .
What do you dislike most about this product?
Don't have anything negative against it; hence, it's definitely a good solution .
What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?
I would say Whenever I reached out to MBS with a more complex query, the guys have always been able to point me in the right direction—top marks from me.

search functions befuddle users, even though it is more crucial to find documents. What I have seen in LF 12 will certainly gives this innovation!

Laserfiche is really exceptional in terms of balancing features and transparency. I like that you can configure it in an infinite number of customizations

Customizable workflows with endless use cases.
What do you dislike most about this product?
To get the best benefits of this product you really need to have a dedicated and talented systems admin or to hire the consultant/ reseller to provide high levels of support.
What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?
Make sure to perform business process analysis throughout the implementation, test all your processes through every iteration, and have enough support to match your expected volume of use cases.
