What differentiates Kali Linux Penetration Testing from other similar products?

Kali Linux is a complte solution when it comes to ethical hacking, vulnerability assessments and penetration testing. The difference lies in the Kali Linux community and huge Knowledge-Base resources available. Kali Linux is one of of the most stable OS, as well as being secured. hen I first started using Kali Linux, I was impressed with how complete this tools was: I could anonymize my device by changing the MAC address via a simple command by using macchanger. I could also send e-mail phishing security tests within 5 minutes, something which could have taken hours by using other services.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

The fact that their are pre-build images of Kali Linux, ready to be installed on virtual machines like VMWare or VirtualBox makes it faster for the IT security specialist to deploy a clean instance and perform his pentest assignments. The fact that Kali is bootable from a USB device is also great. Last but not least, the features for information gathering as well as computer forensics are numerous. Kali Linux being available on the AWS marketing makes it a unique and powerful penetration testing OS.

What do you dislike most about this product?

Kali Linux provides checksums of the downloaded image files, which provide added security. I believe that there should be an additional way of doing this. Otherwise, I have no dislike as such, for Kali Linux is amazing. A recommendation would be to provide updated weekly video tutorials.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

If you are looking forward to a career in the cybersecurity sector, Kali Linux is a must. You will get the tools to investigate, anonymize, and in some cases launch authorized attacks for your penetration testing tasks. Kali Linux is the most powerful OS in my opinion. To be used with great responsibility however.
