Has the ability to preserve data structure for search or reporting which means that data remains valuable when even one wants to analyze longterm injury history, performance over time or even analyzing long term trends

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

It’s flexibility in archiving compressed files to separate warehouse based on access needs or orientation

What do you dislike most about this product?

It is an overkill when dealing with small data volume

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

Before implementation of this tool, always ensure to have IT support and training to necessary staff for effective data archiving and retrieving due to its steep learning curve

What differentiates Informatica Data Archive from other similar products?

It has huge compression ratio for the RDBMS and multiple external storage support such as CAS, ECS, HDFS, S3 etc.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

Easy to create a source and target connection and schedule a job. Other similar software has a lot overhead running a simple job.

What do you dislike most about this product?

It has only on prem version and no SaaS.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

Please check if your requirement is SaaS or on prem and decide according to that.
