It has improved data efficiency in projects and tasks that we execute. It categorizes data into suitable classes for easy assessment.

What do you dislike most about this product?

I have not experienced downtimes from technical operations.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

This is the most accurate data archiving tool with flexible cost averages. I fully recommend to other organizations for excellent data handling practices.

What differentiates Informatica Data Archive from other similar products?

It has huge compression ratio for the RDBMS and multiple external storage support such as CAS, ECS, HDFS, S3 etc.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

Easy to create a source and target connection and schedule a job. Other similar software has a lot overhead running a simple job.

What do you dislike most about this product?

It has only on prem version and no SaaS.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

Please check if your requirement is SaaS or on prem and decide according to that.

What differentiates Informatica Data Archive from other similar products?

Informatica has been the market leader, their products are matured and very less bug however the other vendors software has not all the features what INFA possess. When it comes to data compression, INFA utility help compressing upto 98% than your flat file size, hardly any other software got this capability.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

-Ease of Integration with various Databases. -Option to upload your jar file and use jdbc string to connect to non native supported database. -Data encryption at rest and transition

What do you dislike most about this product?

Their support quality and documentation quality has gone down recently. I hope they will work on it and hire a few great talent especially for this product.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

If you are happy with the pricing go for it. It's definitely better than other available options.
