What differentiates IBM Informix from other similar products?

It is a fairly complete product, and our clients use it for different applications in various types, in addition, the data analysis is carried out through this platform, the sizes of the databases are quite varied and their maximum capacities are very extensive, without a doubt it is distinguished to the competition and is used by many people in the industry regardless of the size of the companies, the results granted are quite good.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

It is a fairly solid product in terms of OLTP and as if that were not enough it is an excellent option to carry out transactions from any system regardless of the amount of volume. It is a very real product for integrated systems and using it as an integrated database engine the result is splendid, as well as its ability to integrate time series data when relational makes it ideal for different types of monitoring and in turn for analytical data processing. time oriented.

What do you dislike most about this product?

an exceptional product which has a lot of functions and honestly there are not many bad things in it it has an excellent feedback mechanism and it has an online system to be able to offer improvements from the point of view of us users this is how new ones are incorporated versions constantly with suggestions given by ourselves.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

It is a product that can adapt to almost any type of environment and thus satisfy the needs of any type of company even if the requirement to be integrated into the hardware this product does so efficiently. it is quite suitable for transaction processing which means that it has a technology that is among the best concentrating different types of business requirements both transactional and analytical processing as well as structured data storage and processing.
