Offering a complete integration testing solution

What differentiates IBM Engineering Lifecycle Management (ELM) from other similar products?
It offers numerous dashboards and flawlessly applies kanban agile. Its combination with test and requirement management tools makes it a very user-friendly solution. Java APIs are readily available for creating extensions, making RTC a more reliable tool overall. Once developed, it is simple to manage, track, and analyze the needs elicited.
What is your favorite aspect of this product?
Taking into account, the variety of detailed versions that can be viewed by senior management, the dashboards and GUI created by the IBM RTC Tool are easily understandable for the senior management. Widgets are excellent at summarising info. Reduced management risk – Due to ongoing system integration, you are aware of the exact amount of functionality that has been developed thus far.
What do you dislike most about this product?
Acclimatization of the program takes some time. Integration with additional tools is useless. Lacks portfolio planning support; therefore, the planning feature must be more robust, similar to an MPP. Information about the releases for joint publications. The user interface might be made better. The dashboards can be improved, and a particular drill-down strategy should be valued.
What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?
RTC enables team members to own their work, estimates, and other tasks fully. This ownership eliminates the extra time and potential for misunderstanding that come with updating a PM on your status, having the PM update the plan with your tasks, and updating the team.
Pros
- Helps Innovate
- Continually Improving Product
- Reliable
- Performance Enhancing

Code-free, feature-rich, easy-to-use tool

What differentiates IBM Engineering Lifecycle Management (ELM) from other similar products?
We appreciate how flexible the tool is. It enables groups and individuals to tailor the device to their unique requirements. Additionally, the tool has several other IBM technologies that are very well connected—controlling access and rights to the material while allowing for updates and system integration. The OSLC and REST API are sufficiently robust to extend the system and meet regulatory standards effectively.
What is your favorite aspect of this product?
The business uses IBM Engineering Workflow Management to link requirements to products. We create these products to aid in the understanding of our sensors. Engineering Workflow's ability to provide development cycle traceability is my favourite feature. Simple to use to configure excellent notifications and subscriptions. Good workflow management. This toolkit, along with the other linked technologies, offers the most effective framework for the scalability of agile teams for complex systems with demanding compliance standards.
What do you dislike most about this product?
The RTC navigation model is challenging for novice users to comprehend. It is not very intuitive, and in some cases, the inconsistent UI only makes things more confusing. This confusion is cleared up once the user has used RTC for a few months. However, it takes some time. A manager or project manager cannot handle the work assignments of team members in a centralized manner using RTC.
What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?
Its simplicity of use was my favourite. The simple user interface made it simple to carry out Scrum development. It was much simpler to keep track of things thanks to the task tracking and the option for the IDE to use the Personal Work View. Additionally, we only had a small development team, so being able to secure ten free licenses up front was quite helpful.
