What differentiates IBM Cloud Bare Metal from other similar products?

IBM Cloud base support the latest-generation NVIDIA GPUs and x86 microarchitecture from Intel Xeon and AMD EPYC1. It allow multiple bare metal servers to communicate on the IBM Cloud virtual private network as if stationed on the same rack

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

There are many aspects of IBM Cloud Bare Metal Servers that I find impressive, but if I had to choose one, I would say it is their flexibility. IBM Cloud Bare Metal Servers allow users to customize their servers with over 11 million different configuration combinations1, including CPU technology from Intel Xeon, AMD EPYC, and NVIDIA GPUs.

What do you dislike most about this product?

It might take longer to configure and deploy than other cloud services, as they require more customization and fine-tuning. They may not offer the same level of individual support and attention as smaller cloud providers, as IBM is a large company with many clients.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

Definitely worth using this product i will recommend it.

IBM Cloud Bare Metal Servers provide 100% dedicated hardware. Bare Metal Servers are well suited for enterprise workloads that require sustained performance over longer periods. Virtual Servers are ideal for workloads that run for shorter durations such as dev/test, backup and recovery, disaster recovery(DR) or even survey or test scoring. Bare Metal servers allow customization, but they offer more control over hardware tuning.Organisations with specific performance requirements benefit from bare metal's power and control.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

Favourite aspect is dedicated and secure nature. These servers provide 100% dedicated hardware, ensuring optimal performance and security. This level of control is valuable for workloads that demand sustained performance and compliance

What do you dislike most about this product?

Configuration Complexity Setting up a bare metal server can be time - consuming due to the need for manual configuration. Unlike quick and automated virtual server deployment, bare metal servers require more attention to detail

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

IBM Cloud Bare Metal Servers are SAP- certified to support SAP HANA and SAP NetWeaver workloads. Explore the possibilities for running my critical SAP applications on dedicated infrastructure. IBM Cloud uniquely allows me to provision dedicated bare metal servers for deploying my own VMware-based private cloud.
