HubSpot’s Live Chat (part of HubSpot Conversations) differs from many other live chat products. Most live chat tools just handle chat interactions—but HubSpot’s chat is built right into a full CRM platform. Every message automatically becomes a contact record. You see contact history across sales, marketing, and support. Chat conversations feed into pipelines and automation, so no manual tagging and fewer data silos—your sales and support teams stay aligned.
What is your favorite aspect of this product?
HubSpot Live Chat is how deeply it connects conversations with the CRM and overall business context—not just messages on a screen. Instead of treating chat as an isolated tool, HubSpot ties every interaction back to contact records, deal history, and engagement timelines. That means when a rep picks up a chat, they immediately know who the person is, what they’ve done on the site, and where they are in the funnel. This level of insight makes responses far more relevant and effective.
What do you dislike most about this product?
Many users (and I, objectively) see it as the biggest limitation or frustration with HubSpot Live Chat—especially when compared to some competitors. HubSpot’s bots are rule-based, not fully AI-powered, so they rely on keywords and prebuilt paths. Visitors expect conversational AI that feels natural and intelligent—not decision trees.

This is an easy-to-implement tool that provides great flexibility in reporting, featuring a clean UI that saves a significant amount of time while supporting users and helping clients assist them fast. Automated chat responses help to identify the user's needs.
What is your favorite aspect of this product?
HubSpot live chat support has easy integration with its own CRM tool, which saves a lot of time when it comes to managing the team and working on detailed reports and capturing client details accurately, and helps to filter the data.
What do you dislike most about this product?
One thing that is being missed in the chat tool is real-time typing of the agents. If agents are typing, it dosen't show the typing indicator or icon.
What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?
This is the all-in-one tool that perfectly fits almost every IT business and saves a lot of time when you are looking for an all-in-one tool. It works for sales, marketing and support under one tool. Saves all the contacts and helps you to filter them and use them for future pipeline or connects.
