What differentiates HackerRank from other similar products?

I have been using HackerRank for the last 5 years and have also tried a variety of platforms like HackerEarth and Xobin. However, I find HackerRank to be the best in all areas, such as assessment creation, ease of use, integration with ATS, and plagiarism detection. I think this is a revolutionary product in candidate assessment, and it helps companies choose the best candidates in their hiring process.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

- Test creation using Question library - AI Plagiarism - Video Conferencing with Live coding presentation - Multiple Monitor detection - Tab Proctoring - Copy Paste Tracking

What do you dislike most about this product?

From my 5 years of experience with HackerRank, I haven’t found any dislikes about this product. This is because they continuously improve it very well.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

As a Talent Acquisition specialist, I highly recommend HackerRank platform for organizational quality hiring. It creates healthy and genuine candidate hiring by assessing them on the technical front. Additionally, it works like an ATS, allowing us to define the hiring stages. It also helps conduct video interviews with live coding skills evaluation and contains multiple IDEs to check the candidate’s real-time hands-on coding experience.

This trait is critical because it allows us to accurately assess technical skills relevant to the development of iOS and Android applications, an area in which we specialize. Practical challenges necessitate logical thinking and problem-solving abilities, which assists us in identifying the most talented and appropriate candidates for our company.

What do you dislike most about this product?

The availability of additional learning resources is one area where HackerRank can improve. It would be advantageous to have tutorials, courses, or educational material available to assist candidates in preparing for technical challenges. This would be beneficial not only to applicants, but it would also provide recruiters with a better understanding of the skills of developing candidates.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

I wholeheartedly endorse HackerRank as a premier platform for technical recruiting challenges. Its integration with Greenhouse Recruiting has increased our productivity and enabled us to screen candidates more effectively. The challenges are well-designed and simulate real-world problems, which assists us in identifying the best candidates. Although the platform could use more learning resources, HackerRank is an important tool for technical recruiting at our mobile game development company.
