Google cloud drive offers a reliable & secure object storage and works really well for our enterprise data management. It provides a simple programming interface which enables developers to take advantage of Google's own reliable and fast networking infrastructure to perform data operations in a secure and cost effective manner. The best part of Google Cloud Drive is its "pay as you go" pricing model. The four different storage classes makes it unique and affordable for small and medium business enterprises. Another merit of using Google Cloud is that it supports versioning and allows us to retrieve the deleted versions and objects.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

Google Cloud Drive supports advanced data tiering in storages and this in turn makes it reliable & cost-efficient. The security and confidentiality of data stored is assured at every level. It is a managed storage service that provides advanced security mechanisms using OAuth. With the Granular IAM Permissions, it offers a stronger security approach for our enterprise data management. The flexible pricing strategy is what makes it a better option of cloud storage for us. Thanks to the four distinct classes, we can monitor and control the cost involved. It is pocket friendly & helps save data storage costs at all times.

What do you dislike most about this product?

The most disappointing thing about Google Cloud Drive is the unused storage. At times when we purchase more than our need we run the risk of overspending. Though I cannot say that I have found anything at Google family that I apparently dislike. But then, I find the Interface to be quite simple which should be improved. A flashy interface with more options on the console would be a much better option. Google Cloud drive gets slower sometimes and they still need improvement in Google slides. We have to keep a check on storage and clear trash data to make space at the drive.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

Google Cloud Drive is a good way to start off with when trying to store the objects. I would recommend Google Cloud Drive for its high capacity, scalability and strong data consistency. It is a perfect cloud service to store any file, highly integrated with a multitude of programs and easy to use, all at an excellent price. I personally find Google Cloud drive as a durable and highly available object storage service. With its world-wide storing and retrieval of any amount of data and at any time, Google Cloud Drive is always preferred over the rest others existing in the market.

What differentiates Google Drive from other similar products?

Basically the approach to the collaborative environment is its business card, it has many functions which have made our organization carry out tasks in a coordinated manner and in less time than it took when the traditional work model was used.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

As an office tool it is ideal since through it you can create documents, presentations and spreadsheets just as if you were from desktop applications, best of all, we should not worry about updates since they are always at the forefront , Google Drive recognizes many types of extensions, such as text files, multimedia, etc.

What do you dislike most about this product?

The version control does not work as expected, in spreadsheet files with a high volume of information the tool does not show the versions on specific dates, and it remains blocked. In summary, this aspect should be improved.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

Google Cloud Drive is a powerful platform with a well-earned reputation, ideal for group work and corporate environments since it facilitates productivity by reducing operation times, allows the mobility of each of the users and is flexible to any device with connection to Internet which is ideal in the environment that we move daily.

if you delete a document it still exists in the temporary trash

always have trouble finding the documents, always have to search for them in the bar

lots of work can be done on it. can be used for teams or individual purpose
